Jaleel Smith signing in,
G.I bravo company TI 3. Today marks my 21st birthday the 11th of May born 1990. Who would have ever thought a country boy from Mississippi would ever become one of the united states most deadliest weapons . A wife and unborn child at home whom may not even ever see this "American patriot ". He will not hear the stories of Vietnam, "my hell", how I wake up,strap up and go out to permeate the enemy . Uhh well my life back at home was subtle, she always wanted a big house, blue shutters, and a white picot fence . Being a shoe maker that kind of money didn't come in, couldn't support my own ,how would I support a family and an offspring .? The only thing I could provide to her before I left was the keeper of her to me and the embrace of her ring finger left hand, a ring. The white man laughed at my perseverance they said "gone go to the war a nigger should die for some kind of honor," I smiled back at them then and now I laugh being a G.I , I LAUGH.! To be so diligent, to work so hard, the militarys' most prized weapon ,does it pay off.?
